What makes a good Artificial Turf Halo?

Kodiak Sports artificial turf halos are made of 52oz Steel Spike Proof Nylon sports turf. Kodiak Artificial Turf Halos come with a 5mm reinforced foam pad for additional cushioning, life and weight.  The turf halos are sold with and without wings and are sold in 2 standard sizes.  5' and 10' Thick.  We can also do custom halo sizes to fit your pitching mound or smaller/larger diameter field areas. Nylon is the toughest yarn in the sports turf industry.  Nylon sports turf has higher melting points and abrasion strength characteristics than polyP or polyE yarns.  Nylon is also a more expensive yarn, therefore producing a slightly higher priced product; but one that is superior in quality under the heavy uses of an outdoor athletic field.
