Foam Pit Cubes are used for training scenarios when soft landings are needed for many odd shaped devices or people impacting the ground doing extreme activities.
The high grade open cell polyurethane cubes are fire retardant. The cubes offer 45 ILD foam with a density of 1.45 lbs. The cubes come in 6" and 8" sizes and meet California Technical Bulletin 117 safety standards and are Fire Retardant.
Flat mats and other mats don't work well for stunt landing, aerial work, gymnastic work that requires the athlete to push their body to the extreme...landing safely in the cubes allows athletes to let go of fear and allow them to perform.
