Carpet bonded foam is used for most gymnastic, cheerleading studios along with trampoline air parks.  The foam flooring can be used for other high impact areas for dance, martial arts, and even as wall padding.

Kodiak Carpet bonded foam is available in solid/flat backing or the flex/slit backing.

Foam Backing Options:

Carpet bonded foam is available in 2 options.  This item is for the EVA foam option.  If you want the standard Polyethylene foam; please look at other item.

EVA Foam vs Polyethylene Foam

What's the difference? EVA foam is slightly softer and more flexible; but also less responsive to athletes in cheer and martial arts.  (meaning the foam is slower to return to shape).

Our EVA mats are a hybrid mat of EVA and regular crosslink PE Foam - 2 lbottom layers of 3/4" EVA and a top layer of standard PE Crosslink foam so the mat still has firmness and responsiveness to the athlete. 

EVA foam is also NOT crosscut/flexi backing....EVA foam will not hold up to that.

Velcro

Rolls come with velcro to join. You get 1 velcro strip per seam.
IE: Order 1 Roll, no velcro. Order 2 rolls, you get 1 strip of velcro. Order 4 rolls, you get 3 strips of velcro.
